Q. What types of properties can I list?

A. You can only list land here. If you happen to have, for example, 100 acres with a ranch house on it, you can list it here, but advertise the acreage primarily, and the ranch house secondary.

Q. How much does it cost to list my land here?

A. You can sign up and list your land for free! You can list as many properties as you own or are representing.

Q. Are there any fees at all to sign up as a seller or member?

A. No, it's completely free.

Q. If my land sells, do I have to pay you any sort of fee?

A. No. It's free to list!

Q. What is the difference between a seller and a member?

A. A seller can list there properties, while a member cannot. Except for that, all the features for sellers and members are the same (save your searches, save your favorites, etc.)

Q. Why do I see the word agent a lot? Do I have to be a real estate agent to sell my properties?

A. Absolutely not! We use the words agent and seller interchangeably, so a seller is simply an agent on our site. Anybody and everybody who owns land can list their land properties, whether you are a real estate agent or not.

Q. How do I add images to my listings?

A. After you list your property, go to "Edit Listings" and you'll be able to add images.

Q. Can I put my companies logo as an image?

A. No, the images you can put in your listings must be only regarding the actual listing.

Q. Can I advertise my website in a posting?

A. No, you can only advertise your property.

Q. What do I put in the "Explain why your land is discounted" field when I list?

A. Because of site is called DiscountLandForSale.com, we would like sellers to explain why their land is discounted. We want buyers to be able to find the best prices on DiscountLandForSale.com

Q. How do I get my listing to be a "Featured Listing"? Does it cost money?

A. If you want your property to be a featured listing, send an e-mail to Greg@DiscountLandForSale.com for an estimate. Yes, it does cost money but we can work out something reasonable.

Q. Where can I advertise on your site?

A. We currently have two places where you can advertise. The first is on the main page, on the left side, under the featured listings. The other is at the top, on every single page. E-mail us at Greg@DiscountLandForSale.com for an estimate.

Q. What do I do when my land sells?

A. Just make sure to edit your listing and make it from "Active" to "Sold."
