Area Information: The Town of Bradford is located in the Northeast part of Steuben County, New York. The population is approximately 1,000 people per 24.9 square miles. Bradford is a working community and some of the major employers in the area include Corning Incorporated, North American Phillips, and Dresser-Rand. Most areas of Bradford are rural agricultural, including small quaint towns and communities, they are part of the Finger Lakes Region of Western New York. Steuben is known for its award-winning wineries in and around the village of Hammondsport, nestled in the heart of New York’s Finger Lakes. In Steuben County you'll find dairy, field crop, and homegrown fruits and vegetables sold from friendly local farmers. Autumn is very beautiful time of year where the streets are filled with vibrant colors and crisp clean air. There are miles of scenic hiking trails that connect one small town to another which are perfect for biking. Lamoka Lake is 826 acres with a shoreline extending 11.3 miles; the maximum depth is 40 feet. Located just five minutes away from our properties is the Birdseye Hollow State Forest, a lovely attraction for visitors and locals. It offers a picnic area with grilling range and a playground area for kids. There are two miles of year-round, easy- to-moderate hiking trails. People also enjoy fishing, bird-watching, biking, and of course your dogs are welcome, as long as they are on a leash. Bath is a more populated town in Steuben County, NY and is located just 15 miles from our Bradford, NY. As the county seat, Bath is the communication center where the local Government offices reside. Bath offers a variety of services and is a community that is proud of its history and full of spirit. You will also find other friendly towns and villages close by, such as Avoca, Bradford, Campbell, Hammondsport, Kanona, Prattsburgh, and Savona. The Steuben County Health Care Facility and a VA Medical Center are also conveniently located in Bath. There is also an abundance of coffee shops, quaint retail stores and restaurants, with plenty of activities for people of all ages.
